Trend watch: photo-less layouts

in Simple Tips for Scrapbooking,Techniques for Scrapbooking

One of the fun trends I’ve noticed in digital scrapbooking is layouts without photos. There are many ways to make this work beautiful and even more reasons to try it out. While photo-less pages are not going to dominate your album, they’re a perfect way to tell a story or create a special piece of art.

I surfed through nearly 200 pages of My Scrapbook Art’s gallery to find these great examples. Enjoy the eye-candy!

I’ve only made one picture-less LO, but I really love how it turned out. I think I may try it again sometime!

I love photo-less layouts! That is one of the things I love most about digi. A friend of mine saw my layouts and said: Layout without a picture isn’t scrapbooking. Me: Draling, for me it is.
That is the last one I did, and it is the last layout I did too: http://www.myscrapbookart.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=162692&ppuser=2739
