Trend watch: inanimate objects

As with photo-less layouts, featuring a non-living thing as a scrapping subject is a growing trend. I think Project 365 is partly responsible, forcing us to capture the beauty of daily life. Sometimes, the places and things in our lives tell as much of our story as the people!

Thanks for doing this story! I have found that as my kids get older, they are less enthusiastic about getting their photos taken. But I still need photos to scrap! These pages have given me some new ideas for scrapping!

I’ve done a few pages with inanimate objects. I find that they help me remember things that I would probably forget otherwise. Here’s a few examples:
