Inspiration from the paper world

by | Scrapbooking Ideas | 2 comments

Several times a week, I update Simple Scrapper’s inspiration tumblr with the most beautiful layouts I find in the digital scrapbooking world. What I don’t normally do is explore the paper scrapbooking world for this purpose. Today will be different.

I jumped over to Two Peas in a Bucket to check out the gallery. Boy, was I completely overwhelmed by the quality of work there. For full disclosure here, as if you didn’t know, I’m partial to paper-style scrapping… even though I’ve never paper-scrapped myself! Here are 20 of my favorites, just for you:

I hope you enjoyed this amazing eye candy. I know I will be scraplifting some of these layouts very very soon! For those of you like me, who adore this type of work, I urge you to browse the paper galleries once in while for a super special treat.

I think that maybe why I’ve been feeling ho-hum about digi lately is the strong trends away from the paper “look.” I’m just a simple digiscrapper, nothing fancy. 😉

I love the paper look too! But man, paper scrapping sure has changed over the years. My early attempts via Creative Memories years ago look nothing like these!
