Ok, I’ll elaborate. The biggest thing that has helped me to scrap more and stress less is letting go of perfection. Just sit down and scrap. Don’t feel like you have to make it perfect in one sitting. Get started and see where that takes you.

Like you, I’ll sometimes put off scrapping because I’m not feeling creative or I don’t have enough time to finish or yada yada yada. There will always be a reason not to scrap. Focus on the feelings of success, the joy of creative release and the internal warmth of properly honoring your memories.

3 more tips to make it easier

  1. Use a template
  2. Scraplift something amazing
  3. Start with a challenge

It’s like exercise or chemistry or a million other things, the hardest part is getting started. So come on now, just do it!

Psst. I have a secret. There just might be a really cute template for you tomorrow. If you’re good little scrappers.

Its true that many procrastinate over starting a layout. One thing that I do is Speed Scraps. At first the time issue scared me, but now its a challenge and you are able to make it your own. Every single speed scrap layout are my favorites and I wouldnt change a thing about them.
