Happy New Year Simple Scrappers! We JUST got home from nearly 36 hours of celebration. Oddly enough, the entire family is still up playing in various ways.

There is going to be so much goodness in digiscrap this year, at Simple Scrapper and throughout our community. I’m currently drooling over the new products by my friend Aud Neal (and 9 other talented designers) at Design House Digital, the new uber-flexible challenge system at Sweet Shoppe Designs and the incredible daily inspiration gearing up at Log Your Memory. What hot new thing has got you excited?

Keep your eyes peeled this weekend for a big post announcing what’s to come here at the only online resource dedicated to helping you find more time for your love of scrapping!

This week we’re capping off Capture the Season with a personal reflection. Use our prompt and template to holistically document your 2009 as well as your resolutions for 2010.

Assignment #6: The When

The new year is as much about neatly wrapping up the stories of the past as it is about kicking off the future. Many cultures believe that anything in the shape of a ring is good luck, because it symbolizes “coming full circle” as well as the continued circle of life. Use at least 2 photos of yourself, one older and one very recent, to discuss how you’ve evolved over the year and where you want to be at the end of 2010.

Template for Week 6

Keep this timeless template in your stash for any sort of comparison layout. It’s perfect for kids as well as all about me pages. I think I’m going to focus on the relationship between my husband and I. 2009 was our first full year as a married couple!
