Clever combos for holiday photo gifts

A reader emailed me over the weekend with an important question:

I have a holiday dilemma and I thought you might have some ideas. I’ve developed a case of carpal tunnel and am probably not going to be able to knit any gifts for my family this year. I thought maybe I would make some digi or hybrid gifts for them using family photos. Have you seen or can you think of anything suitable?

The holidays are a perfect time to celebrate memory keeping with photo-related gifts and project. Here are some of my favorite selections for sharing photos in a simple and creative way.

[Bodum Picture Tumbler + Tumbler Templates by Penny Springmann]

[Umbra Lolly Multi-Photo Holder + Fujifilm Instax MINI Instant Camera]

[Canon SELPHY Compact Printer + Taggies Colours Picture Cube]

[2011 Mini Calendar by Aja Abney + Rolodex Black Mesh Business Card Holder]

[2011 Bookmark Templates by Sahlin Studio + Red Embossed Leather Journal]

[Word Art Brushes by Ali Edwards + Malden White Picture Frame]

It’s not hard to break out of the photo calendar box and find clever ways to combine memories with gifting. What are you favorite photo projects?

Thanks Jennifer! It’s been such a crazy week that I haven’t had a chance to check in until now, but I love these ideas and I’m really grateful that you posted them. I hope you’re feeling better!
