Around here I unexpectedly found myself having my appendix removed on May 16. I’m doing well now, but I had to do a serious slow-down that challenged my go-go-go personality.
Around here I finally unpacked the 11 boxes of books that moved with me from Maryland to Illinois in 2008. I’m donating about a 1/3 of them and am thrilled to have easy access to my favorites.
Around here I am excited about IndyCar racing again, after attending the Indy 500 with my dad and husband. You’ll find me rooting for (and somewhat swooning over) Marco Andretti.
Around here she has two new imaginary friends, who enjoy eating supper and riding in the car with us. Since they are 6 and 10, we hear they are teaching Emily how to be a big girl.
Around here we are getting ready to take a fun family vacation at the beginning of June. I’m looking forward to a major change of scenery and hanging out with my BFF at her new house.
Around here I am feeling really good about some new ideas I’d like to implement at Simple Scrapper over the next year, but I’m finally learning that everything takes much longer than I think.
