Day 2 – June 29, 2025
Tour the Community
Sometimes being online can feel noisy, with constant ads and calls for your attention. Our community is the antidote, an escape from the hustle and a path to more joy and ease. At Simple Scrapper you can find both boistrous laughter and quiet introspection, but it’s all wrapped in the warmth of a chosen family with a shared love of scrapbooking. In this video tour, I’m highlighting a few aspects that make the membership something special.
There's Magic on the Inside!
I’m sure you’re not surprised that we have a robust program for our members, but many newcomers are shocked to see such an active community that’s not on Facebook. There’s always a great conversation to jump into or a fun opportunity to connect live when you’re part of our creative family.
Action Step: Leave a comment below sharing one area of the community that you would be excited to explore.
I would really like to explore the story starters. I struggle with journalling on my scrapbook pages and this sounds like it would really be helpful to me.
I love that application. Start with a page you’re working on and then browse for an idea that can help you tell more of the story!
I would like to spend some time exploring the story starters and the Creative Hub overall. Looks like there is an enormous amount of inspiration in there!
Yes, most definitely there is! I always try to remind members that you can always go back, it’s not going anywhere. So it’s best to act on an idea when you find one.
Love all the calendar choices and ‘prompts’ to get ideas for pages.
We encourage members to test out different time slots and figure out what works best to become a ‘regular’ at!
I love all the time choices. I would love to check out a challenge!
For every two-month period (a ‘creative journey’) we have four challenges you can enter and three randomly-selected winners get gift cards!
The classroom!
Yes! We’ve got some good stuff in there!
I am interested in the story starters and the sketches. I’m hoping to find more rectangular sketches rather than 12 x 12.
How much content is related to a scrapbooker who just does Project Life albums?
We have quite a few members who do Project Life either as their primary scrapbooking format or as one approach in their toolbox. Most of our content is independent of how you like to scrapbook, focusing on strategies for habits, organization, storytelling, photos, projects, and planning. We do also have a well-loved workshop that uses the pocket page format to tell a bigger story.
I find the concept of the creative hub intriguing. You’ve talked about it either on the podcast or at a planning party but I didn’t really understand how much Simple Scrapper has expanded the notion until I watched the video “tour”.
