HERE’S WHAT I KNOW:
You haven’t lost your love of scrapbooking. You’ve lost the pieces that made your hobby work.
Simple Scrapper is the membership community that gives overwhelmed scrapbookers the planning framework, gentle accountability, and genuine friendships they need to finally get unstuck.

You love this hobby. You believe these stories matter. But right now, the hobby that’s supposed to bring you joy might be doing the opposite. Here’s what changes when you stop trying to figure it out alone.
Before Simple Scrapper
You sit down to scrapbook and spend the whole session wondering where to start.
You have 40,000 photos on your phone, a craft room full of supplies you forgot you bought, and half-finished projects on every shelf. The guilt follows you around.
You used to love this.
Now you avoid it because every time you think about scrapbooking, all you can see is how far behind you are. Your scrapbooking friends have moved on. You’re doing this alone, and it shows.
You keep telling yourself you’ll get back to it when things calm down. But things never calm down, and another year of stories slips by undocumented.

You have so many beautiful supplies, but something isn’t working.

You have finished albums and feel full of pride.
After Simple Scrapper
You walk into your craft space feeling anticipation instead of dread.
You know exactly what you’re working on because you chose your priorities at the last Member Meeting and your Creative Hub keeps you on track.
Thirty focused minutes with a plan accomplishes more than an entire afternoon of wandering.
You have friends who know your name, remember your projects, and celebrate when you finish a layout.
Your supplies serve you instead of nagging you.
And when life gets busy and you step away for a few weeks? Nobody judges you. They welcome you back and you pick up right where you left off.
You feel like yourself again.
You’ve tried everything except the one thing that actually works.
You’ve watched the tutorials. You’ve bought the kits. You’ve pinned hundreds of layouts and joined Facebook groups that left you scrolling instead of creating. None of it solved the real problem, because the real problem was never a lack of inspiration or supplies. It was lack of a personalized system for your hobby
You need a decision-making framework.
12×12 or pocket pages? This project or that one? Which photos? What design? The decisions pile up before you even touch your supplies.
By the time you sit down, you’re exhausted from choosing and you end up reorganizing your desk instead of creating. You don’t need fewer options.
You need a framework for deciding what matters most and doing that first.
You need accountability that actually fits a creative hobby.
Willpower alone isn’t working. You make plans, you set goals, and then life happens. Without anyone to check in with, those goals quietly dissolve.
But the accountability you need isn’t rigid or punishing. It’s the kind that comes from people who notice when you show up, cheer for your progress, and welcome you back without a single word of guilt when you’ve been away.
You need people who get it.
The people in your life may love you, but they don’t understand why you tear up over a completed album or why preserving these stories keeps you up at night.
You’ve lost your scrapbooking community. Your crop group disbanded.
You’re practicing a deeply social hobby in total isolation, and you can feel the difference.
I know this feeling…
because I lived it.

I’m Jennifer Wilson, and I started Simple Scrapper in 2008 as a blog to document my own journey in memory keeping. I’d just moved to a small college town in Illinois to get married and join a blended family. I was figuring out a new life and a new creative identity at the same time. I thought I had it together. I didn’t.
Over the years, as I taught classes and built this community, I kept hearing the same thing from scrapbookers everywhere: “I love this hobby but I can’t make myself do it anymore.” And I recognized that feeling in myself. The overwhelm. The guilt about unused supplies. The frustration of sitting down with two free hours and accomplishing nothing. I realized the answer was never more products or techniques. It was systems, support, and permission to do things differently.
That’s when Simple Scrapper became more than a content library. We built a system scrapbookers were actually missing: a planning framework, virtual retreats, accountability systems that feel good instead of heavy, and a community platform where members are known by name. Not a Facebook group you scroll past. A creative home you come back to.
Today, after nearly two decades and more than 300 podcast episodes, my mission hasn’t changed. I help scrapbookers stay connected to stories, creativity, and each other. I’m a wife, a mom to humans and cats, a cookie enthusiast, and a lover of lakes. Most importantly, I’m just like you. And if I can build a consistent, joyful creative practice, you absolutely can too.
But maybe you’re thinking…

“I joined after the Planning Party last fall, and I have accomplished more in the past year than I have in ages. And the friendships are PRICELESS!”
Melinda C.
Here’s the truth:
Every one of those thoughts is completely valid. And every one of them is something our members felt before they joined too.
The difference is that Simple Scrapper isn’t another thing on your list. It’s the thing that helps you stop spinning and start making progress. Our members don’t create more time. They use the time they have with more intention and more joy, because they finally have a plan and people in their corner.
And if life pulls you away? We’ll be here. No pressure, no guilt. Just a warm welcome back whenever you’re ready. That’s how this works.
What Our Members Have to Say
“All these years later, it is STILL the community that keeps me at Simple Scrapper. I have actually tried another scrapbooking community, but it did not meet my needs. If I have to pare down every subscription and every purchase, I would continue to keep my Simple Scrapper membership. I feel like I have true friends here and our community goes way beyond scrapbooking.”
Carol W.
“When I first started following you, I had almost stopped scrapbooking. I just couldn’t give myself permission to take the time and I felt too overwhelmed by how many pictures I wanted to scrapbook. I’m happy to say you have helped me see it as an important priority and how I can take this ‘elephant’ of a challenge one bite at a time. I just finished an album for my daughter of her childhood pictures!”
Marilyn A.
“This last couple of months since becoming a member I have been more productive than I have in the last few years. Starting with Refresh, my creative life changed. I am focused and motivated, even when I don’t feel my mojo is there. I have at last found creative peace.”
Catherine C.
Here’s how we help you find your way back.

You’ll never sit down wondering where to start again. Our layered planning system meets you where you are, from big-picture clarity down to your next thirty-minute session.
- Focus Finder to help you choose a single clear priority when everything feels equally important.
- Annual Planning Party to set your priorities for the year ahead. Members consistently say this alone is worth the membership.

- Two-Month Journeys with a fresh theme each cycle, so you always feel on track with built-in resets.
- Creative Hub tools to build a personalized planning system that supports your unique creative process.
02
Accountability That Feels Good
This is the kind of accountability you’ve been missing: consistent, gentle, built into the rhythm of your creative life. Not rigid. Not punishing. The kind that actually works because it comes from real people who care.
- Finishing Day Events to choose one project and make real, visible progress alongside fellow members.
- Weekly Live Zoom Crops at multiple times for different time zones. Relaxed, welcoming, introvert-friendly.

A Community That Becomes Your Creative Home
This is the piece that changes everything. Real friendships with women who understand exactly why this hobby matters, on a dedicated platform that feels like a breath of fresh air.
- An inclusive, moderated, intentionally kind space. Members consistently describe it as the kindest place on the internet. We take that seriously.
- A distraction-free community platform that is not Facebook. No algorithm, no ads, no noise. Accessible from your phone, tablet, or computer.
- Members who are known by name. This is not a group you scroll past. It’s a place where people notice when you show up.
- Monthly Member Meetings and live connection opportunities throughout the year.
- Book Club for titles supporting intentional, creative living.

Resources That Solve Problems
Everything in our library is designed to address real scrapbooking challenges, not pile on more content you’ll never get to.
- SPARK Magazine (bimonthly): Digital magazine with creative inspiration that feels doable. Beautiful enough to inspire, practical enough to use.
- Sketch and Template Library searchable by number of photos, so you spend less time on design decisions and more time telling stories.
- Stash Bash activities dedicated to using your existing supplies, decluttering, and rediscovering what’s already in your stash.
- Evergreen Class Library including Photo Crush, The Finishing Project, Creative Hub Essentials, and more. These solve infrastructure problems, not technique gaps.
- Member Quests for standalone multi-step activities designed to accomplish specific goals.

Members can also order print copies of SPARK magazine!

What Our Members Have to Say
“Because of the encouragement and accountability of this group, in the span of eight months, I have been able to start and finish both my own and my husband’s childhood memoir albums, finish a multi-volume photo-a-day baby book, and finish a vacation mini book. All of this in addition to being on fire with inspiration to scrapbook individual layouts at a rate higher than it’s been in years.”
Natalie S.
“I took a hiatus from Simple Scrapper for a year, which was on me. Your podcast is always the first thing I listen to and it reminded me of how I need to prioritize my goals. Your membership is big picture, not just making layouts or a class. It covers all the bases!”
Kimberly J.
“It’s a safe, supportive community where I can do it my way while at the same time be encouraged to try new things.”
Maggie C.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
You just need the right place to call your creative home.

I can’t wait to see you inside the community!
