Laurie Danielle is a paper crafter, graphic designer, non-profit professional, wife and mother. She attended art school, grew disillusioned with the fine arts after graduation and transitioned into theatre design where she created costumes and properties for professional theatres for many years. Now you can find her planning out adult and family programming and doing graphic design at a community non-profit. When not working or being mommy, she likes to record the stories of her life in scrapbooks, play around in her garden, listen to copious amounts of NPR, experiment in the kitchen and tackle a DIY home improvement project or two. Laurie is happiest when she is able to do something with her hands and finds the joy in both being able to create something beautiful and to record one’s memories to be the most rewarding art of all. She believes there is no right or wrong way to scrapbook and actively encourages everyone to find a memory keeping method that resonates with them personally.

Sandy Henderson is excited to be a part of the Simple Scrapper Team. She loves that there are NO RULES when it comes to creativity; especially scrapbooking! “Because we are all so different, why shouldn’t our style, our stories, and/or our processes?” She also loves that Jennifer has provided ways for us to each tell our OWN story…in our OWN way.
She is a paper, turned digital, turned hybrid, and all the way back around again kinda girl. Sandy loves creating digitally in Photoshop, yet still wants to get her hands “dirty” with glue, paint, paper and ink in paper crafting projects. She feels fortunate to be on several creative teams and to learn from some of the most talented designers in the business. Pretty soon, you will find her teaching Hybrid Classes online at Scrapaneers. Rather than maintaining a blog, she has a FB Page called Henderson House Designs, where she shares her latest creations, makes and shares announcements/promotions, and is happy to take orders from clients for announcements and invitations.
Sandy and her husband, Clark, have been married for over 28 years and have made many memories together. Some of those memories would include: 6 children (4 of whom are married), an ever-growing number of grandchildren (9 and counting), many trips, activities, sporting events, and the everyday “stuff” which makes up a life. When it comes to scrapbooking, Sandy says, “Will I ever be caught up? NO–but that’s OK! My life is a work in progress… ”

Jen Johnson is originally from Nashville, but ran away to South Florida to marry a boy she met on the Internet. She has always been a memory keeper, but never realized it until she discovered digital scrapbooking in 2009. Now she loves to document her life in SoFlo with her husband, stepson, and cat, cleverly named Miss Kitty. Her biggest scrapbook is the “All About Jen” book. She worries that might sound narcissistic, but who else is more qualified to tell her story? She loves to travel, read, eat good food, and watch bad TV. She has a blog, hclappy scraps, where she writes about digiscrapping, minimalist Project Life, (step)parenthood, and her search for that ever-elusive “healthy lifestyle” everyone talks about. She says Y’all and Yonder a lot, loves run-on sentences, and finds it a bit awkward talking about herself in third person.

Emily used to be a closet scrapbooker while she was living and working as a software engineer in Manhattan in her previous life; yes literally, a closet, because that was the size space she had! Ever since she moved back home to upstate NY and married her high school acquaintance Chris (after they hit it off at their 10 year high school reunion), she has enjoyed the extra space that suburban living indulges. Now, she finds one of the best parts of being a Mom to her daughter Natalie is that her husband no longer moans about having to be in every picture and the star of every scrapbook page. Emily is blessed to be a stay at home mom and spends nap time working on her next layout!
