It’s been a little while since I spent some good quality time with the galleries. I love checking out what you’re doing and especially, seeing if I can spot new trends. In this Fab Five post, I want to share 5 different trends I’m loving.

1. I love seeing artful title work that becomes an artistic focus of the layout. The shadowing makes the letters pop off the page here.

2. I love seeing soul-searching no-photo layouts where the story is truly at center stage. This one showcases a clever use of frames.

3. I love seeing slightly-awkward, imperfection on digital layouts. Going digi is not all about being perfect with all straight lines. This stitched border rocks!

4. I love seeing heavily layered papers and elements secured tightly with stitching and fasteners.  The composition on this one is great – it totally leads my eye around the page.

5. I love seeing lots of journing on a super artful page. This layout makes me really happy. It’s what scrapbooking is all about – telling stories in a creative way.

Make sure you check back tomorrow for the winners of the Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 giveaway and my follow-up post on this software.
