We're a little more than three weeks into 2026, bu We're a little more than three weeks into 2026, but it feels a bit like three years.⁣
⁣
To be honest, I've not been sure what to say about scrapbooking these days. What I do know is that our hobby and our crafting community are still important.⁣
⁣
A couple years ago, our Book Club read Real Self-Care by @poojalakshmin and this morning I was struck by her newsletter message:⁣
⁣
"The most important thing we can do is to keep choosing to care."⁣
⁣
The massive winter storm hitting a big chunk of the US this weekend, with potentially dangerous impacts, makes this even more timely.⁣
⁣

⁣
When we choose creativity and storytelling we remember how these are essential, not just to our mental health, but also to our human experience.⁣
⁣
When we choose connection and camaraderie we remember how important it is to have spaces where we feel safe and supported.⁣
⁣
When we choose gratitude we remember that we do have the power to keep caring, even when so much feels out of our hands.⁣
⁣
This weekend, and always, keep taking care of yourself, your people, and your community. And if you're in need of creative sanctuary, we're here for you.
