In My Office: Book Work

by | In My Office | 2 comments

In My Studio is a new series highlighting projects I’m working on and will replace the Weekly Recap on Fridays.

Between filming for the new video series and planning for a big new project here at Simple Scrapper, it’s been a busy, creative week. Book reading, shipping, brainstorming and making have taken a lot of space in my heart and mind. I created a page kit today and I really hope to use it tonight once the dust settles on this day.

Book Shipping: Last Chance

When I started working on Everyday Storyteller at the beginning of this year, I had no idea what a large part of my life this book would become! It’s been truly incredible. The next batch of books isn’t expected until September, so these last three print copies are it for a while. Orders today (July 5) will ship tomorrow.

Book Making: A Boutique for You

I purchased an inexpensive little toy this week: a Polaroid Pogo printer. It prints 2″ by 3″ photos that have an adhesive backing. I had low expectations going in, but it’s perfect for my needs. (Note: Does not work with iPhone/iPad.)

This purchase stemmed from a want to do something a little different for now-annual trip to the lake: return home with a completed album. If you want to peek at the 4×6 foundation I created, I filmed a video tour.

Oh, and I also made some extras for you. They even have a sewn binding – no assembly required!

You can find these in a little mini book boutique filled with limited edition books. Each book kit includes a bound or unbound foundation and a set of extra goodies!

What a great idea, and having the book done at the end of your vacation is such a plus!
