The Weekly Pep Talk is a video podcast series designed to help you find more time for scrapbooking and use it well. Learn more in our free guide.

In this week’s episode, I’m talking about re-thinking a project that isn’t working the way you want it to. I’m inviting you to take a path of less resistance that still leads to photos scrapbooked. Simple Scrapper subscribers may need to visit the website to view the video.

Your Weekly Pep Talk

It’s your turn to talk! Have you ever re-envisioned a project to just get it done? Are there other projects on your place you could simplify?

I’m a Reluctant Goal-Setter

I’ve always been ambitious and driven. I love my work, sometimes too much. I plan everything, but I can’t think of a time I actually set a specific personal goal and worked towards it.

Yes! I eventually had to rethink the whole Project Life deal. I’ve always wanted to do it, but when all is said and done, I just don’t take a picture every day, and some weeks there just isn’t something super interesting happening. So this year I decided it didn’t matter. I’m not worrying about how many pictures I have, and I’m not going to worry about having a ton of journaling. I figure as long as I get something – even something super simple – done it’s better than all the years of getting noting done because it was too intimidating.
