I’m a Reluctant Goal-Setter

I’ve always been ambitious and driven. I love my work, sometimes too much. I plan everything, but I can’t think of a time I actually set a specific personal goal and worked towards it.

This is such an essential part of being creative and doing your own thing. This past weekend I stayed off the internet and was amazed at how much scrapbooking and crafting I got done. It’s important to have time to actually practice your craft instead of just looking at other people practicing their craft. 🙂

I so agree with this video. There is so much out there on Pinterest, blogs, Facebook, etc. that I very easily get overwhelmed. I have limited my reading to a few blogs from which I consistently get inspiration.

Great pep talk! and very true. I spend way too much time on pinterest, blogs and forums and far too little time creating!

What a great pep talk! Going to take this to heart!
