Freebie Friday: Photo Printing Templates

by | Jan 17, 2014 | Scrapbooking Freebies | 2 comments

One of the questions I hear most often is how to print photos as squares or 3×4 rectangles. While services like Persnickety Prints will print those sizes for you, I often prefer to print these configurations on more traditional print sizes such as 4×6 and 8×10.

By using common photo paper sizes, it is easier to print at home or at a local photo center. And I’m all about easy!

Today’s new addition to our free downloads area is a set of printing templates for 2×2, 3×3, and 3×4 photos. These are layered PSD files, intended for use in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Video Tutorials

This video illustrates how to use a similar Instagram printing template in Photoshop Elements. The procedure would be the same for any of the templates in today’s freebie.

This video illustrates an alternate approach to printing specific photo sizes using Lightroom templates. If you use Lightroom, it’s worth learning how to do this!

Freebie Friday is a blog series that introduces new free downloads.
