I love music, but I LOVE podcasts even more. When I work on my photos, scrap or write, I enjoy connecting with the world in ways that don’t steal my focus. I try to shut down email, the forums and Twitter to simply listen to the motivation being offered. While music keeps me moving, podcasts inspire me. In particular, I am loving the brand new scrapbooking podcast: Paperclipping Roundtable.
Co-hosted by Noell Hyman (paperclipping.com) and Nancy Nally (scrapbookupdate.com), this audio show takes you behind-the-scenes with the industry’s movers and shakers. The casual and candid discussions on scrapping philosophy, trends, and techniques make you feel like one of the gang. Featuring the likes of Stacy Julian (bigpicturescrapbooking.com), Ali Edwards (aliedwards.com) and Angie Lucas (ellapublishing.com), this is a top-notch, professional production.
With four shows already under their belt, these leaders continue to break new ground. (They are already a top iTunes podcast!) Digital scrappers will be interested in how the world of paper is evolving and changing in our increasingly hectic and technology-driven world. Digital designers, shop owners and educators will find new perspective as they consider how their business strategies will change as the big industry players get move involved. Hybrid and paper girls will want to take note of the weekly product picks and navigate to the Paperclipping blog for extra content!
Despite the varied approaches to this craft and evolution of the business, we are indeed united by common themes of documentation and celebration. This love of memory keeping underpins the Paperclipping Roundtable discussions, making this podcast a must-listen.
Oh Jennifer, this sounds SO exciting and I am off to check out the site and subscribe to the podcasts!
