Around here I’m addicted to the beautiful light during this time of year.

Around here the crisp air has me bringing out the flat iron more often.

Around here she and I have been to our first Illinois football game.

Around here she’s obsessed with all things pink and princess.

Around here she’s growing so fast and in the 98th percentile for height.

Around here we’re filling the spaces in life with the house hunt.

Around here I’m trying not to feel anxious about it. So hard.

Around here he’s being a patient and supportive husband.

Around here we’re grateful to be able to take time away just for us.

Around here I’m thrilled to see and hear this again after eight years.

Around here I’m a little bit obsessed with pineapple mojitos.

Around here I’m preemptively holding strong against new projects.

Around here I’m taking two classes and doing a lot of homework.

Around here I’m eager to spend more time writing during October.

    we added a dog to our family this september. it has been both the highlight & the challenge. having a new spirit in my life has definitely changed it. super nice to see the links to your instagram pics, since i’m not on instagram. that’s a very lovely rendition of elton john’s your song. happy october jennifer!

    I so want to do this! For September..

    Around here….we both worked more hours than usual.
    Around here….it was canning season and jam making
    Around here….a trip was planned
    Around here…..a new advent calendar is in the making
    Around here…..decisions were made in terms of our lifestyle….a new to us boat
    Around here…..I am taking on more projects that can possibly be accomplished
    Around here….warm temperatures and dry days bring smiles
    Around here…..lack of rain has us conserving water
    Around here….a shift in furniture has given us new views
    Around here….renewed energy

    September flew by. We were blessed to go on vacation and see our middle daughter, as well as relax (a bit!) on a cruise. I was in the hospital for a week. A new kitchen (yes, from top to bottom!) was put in our villa.

      Sorry about your hospital stay, but glad you were able to bookend that reality with good things. I hope your asthma stays under control.
